TS dilemma

i saw plenty... most of them cannot take negative criticism...
was thinking, should i lock and reopen all such threads? cos there is things to learn from and they just deem information are for them, so their pride is utmost important.
erm.. duno whether be it they can take negative/positive critics but if TS can open a thread and fellow forumers takes time to go thru and give comments, and simply deleted off the post, den i guess there shouldnt be any forum at all in the first place.
example, i was going into portrait section to browse for a post posted last nite, and its not there anymore today...
from what i last viewed on the post, theres at least 5 to 6 replies on the post itself... and its no longer there.
wont these people be wasting their time as well as those cs-sers who participate in the replies and not to forget those who viewed.
i remember last nite when i last viewed the post, titled something like "Ashes XXXXXXXX" den now its gone... which mean the TS only learn to delete the post instead of other things?
it could be a good idea to re-open
its understandable if the thread is not replied but since theres more than ONE replies...

My opinion, take it or leave it!
If one cannot take negative feedback for the pic posted, how can they take more serious things in life, take every negative feedback as a lesson learnt, learn from it and apply it, else you'll be forever standing on the same spot.

thats y alot of us dun really post much (for certain members) nowadays...
there is 2 sides to look from, 1, respecting the TS, and 2, respecting the commentator.
so to reopen such threads... have alot of repercussions.

I think he's referring to that "moderating the mods" thread in the feedback area.
C&C oso need skills, say enough to critique (to be constructive), leave out anything deemed personal.
posting something that is unflattering is very different from a post all out to bash the pic that is/was posted for C&C. even a competent photographer may not necessarily be a good critique.
that said, since my skills are that half-baked i would not be able to contribute much comments of use for the/any TS to work on to improve his/her skills, i rarely (did so in the past) post in that section these days.
