Hi guys,

Just would like to know whether photo shoots are allowed in the museum ?

i think can. as long as no flashes and tripods i think.

Check the mueseum website. There is a section governing the use of cameras and photography for various purposes with regards to the exhibits in there.

Flash damages pigments in the art pieces. Better dun use in the museum.

Can "flash" lah, just make sure its the artistic nature ;)

HEHE.

haha yeah thats what i meant lol.

i believe you are allowed to photograph the exhibits, provided no flash is used.

if you are talking about photo shoots such as pre-wedding shoots, there is a fee involved last time i asked.

107 bucks inc gst for 3 hours wedding shoot

Thank guys. great help :)

here is the link. yeah confirmed photography allowed but no tripods or flashes. and no flashing! hehe get wat i mean?

My experience with the no tripods rule is that it is there but not always enforced, as long as your tripod is not so big that it would block the path of others or cause them to trip over.

As for the no flash rule, this is always enforced in all museums, so always bring a f/2.8 or better lens to such a place.

Just went there, they said no flashes.
