Looking for some good recommendations for exhibition spaces.

as for number of works, i am looking at around 60-70 panels of different individuals.

quite a huge exhibition, was wondering if there is any spaces that has public flow, and accommodate the sheer number of them.

if there are places that has a sense of style/arty atmosphere to it, would be great since its all about exhibition for the creative individuals.

EXPO is out, as there is almost no human traffic, and suntec, not too sure, seems quiet too.

looking for ideas and inputs. ;)

Try the Singapore Tyler Print Institute. Or RedDot.

How about the museums?
National Museum is very large... should have enough space.... there's also flow of creative/arty people.
But they are likely to be quite stringent in works that they take in.
Anyhow, might be good to speak to the curators... they may have some recommendations.

Speak to the curator of 2902 too... she may gave some good recommendations for you.

talk to NLB? central location, easy to reach, lots of human traffic.

MRT tunnel....like Citylink or Raffles Place towards Robinson Road....guaranteed traffic everyday....but not sure which authority you need to talk to

oh yes NLB too, slipped my mind. :)
:bsmilie:

spoked to NLB already. they could offer a space on the 5-6th floor or something, cant remember. i know its the same space that the IR exhibition had....

to be frank, the one... almost no human traffic, quite hard to get any members of public to come...

that one also spoke to already... problem is its a very very small space in RafflesExchange or even the other exchange buildings.

even the tunnel at Esplanade. think its quite impossible also.

was thinking like a central place, where there could be public walking up and down, and at the same time we would have a small booth. selling souvenirs.

Vivo city? Someone/organisation had some kindda exhibition there a month or two back... Human traffic is at the very least moderate...

How about open space? Below LRT track along Compassvale rd at Sengkang, weather is a bit of issue but so far I find it has pretty good shelfting even under heavy rain....you might gain extra publicity for this unorthodox exhibition

yeah... seng kang... very far...

central is the best area.

at first was thinking of renting a space in Haji lane for a month, but later realised that the area, had rather limited public flow.

the main target audience is still local singaporeans... :bsmilie:

Changi Airport T3

i stay jurong.. go T3.. wah. den for that week.everyday must drive down... :faint:

must draw out alot of funds itself. :bsmilie:

Marina, and Taka seems like good.

Taka have a Huge space... and i have contacts... so can exercise them a little. problem is still the tentage and design, may just roll into a huge sum...

Marina is like what recently SP has done for their students and a few years back NUS had one also...

hmmm...

yup the showcase by SP was relatively alright. people actually walked in and looked at the works, which is a plus point.

somehow i don't see taka as a place for exhibiting
