Inspired by darakusan's; which I salute, he did a much better job than I do!

I thought this is the best end product for the day. Others were either too strong, too contrasty or something's just not right. Still, there's room for improvements, eh?

...now back to the "lab" again.

:D Very nice!

Just my personal preference, I think it'll look better if the background is white. More 'clean' feel I guess...:)

But! Good work! I'm inspired to try it out too;)

wow everybody's dunking something in water!
I also wanna try...
I wanna try dunking watermelon but not sure if my father's fishtank will crack or not...
Later all the goldfish die from shock... :bsmilie:
*edit*
scratch that idea my father threatened to dunk my hamsters in the tank

The ones with the blue background, was done yesterday, and here's what I did today.
Some progress, as I finally figured out the use and positioning of the SB600. So here's the white version:

Woahhhhh happy liao!!!
This berry dunkin' shot wins POTW!!!

I like how clear and sharp your strawberries look. :) Which lens were you using? Was it a Macro lens?

The black background were better, especially the last picture!
Btw, care to share how you positioned the flash and what kind of setup you had?

Thank you!
THAT - the black background - was purely accidental.
The positioning of the flash varies for every 5-10 snaps, left and right, top and bottom, everywhere I can place the SB 600 to get the best light angle. So sorry, I am still in experimental mode myself!

Nice! Btw, did you set up a sound trigger for your flash or was it mainly try and error? Apart from a dark room and long exposure, and flash, how was your set up like?
