Sunblitz Filter

I intend to get a CPL filter. Ask the price of HOYA CPL, was quoted $42. And another cheaper one will be the SUNBLITZ CPL filter, quoted for $28.

1) Anyone knows how come there is such a big difference in the price?...:dunno:

2) Is SUNBLITZ filter good?

3) And CPL was supposed to cut off unwanted reflection of lights, which means my it will also under my exposure?

1) Different brands, presumably different quality as glass, coatings used may be different... If you think Hoya is expensive, check the price for B+W filters.

2) No idea but will definately be usable if you are on a budget.

3) CPL will affect your exposure but not much effects on your photos since you use CPL only in bright sunlight.

You get what you pay for, Sunblitz is not a brand discussed here among the people. Safe to assume you can skip it. Hoya should be the lowest level to start with.
Since your camera meters behind the filter any cut off of light is compensated as long as you are not in Manual mode. Check your aperture / shutter speed and compare.
