Sensual or Innocent!?

I'm seeing a general trend for hobbyist photographers getting young ladies to work on sensual themed photoshoots... lingerie, cleavag(ing) and the likes of it..

Not that i've anything against lingerie nor models.. in fact, there's WOMEN out there that looks great in lingerie shoots.. and those i feel have the mental maturity to BE sensual... but these days... i'm not even sure if some of the ladies have reached sexual maturity...:think:

Weird but true... Maybe they should call them "innocent" themes instead....

I'd like to hear from words from the general crowd..

Just another thought.... How many of you think the ladies are doing it for the compensation... and would have rather had more clothes on? Any part-time models here wanna give some input too?

i wish there was more concentration on themes rather than flesh.

i don't shoot portraits, but i enjoy looking at them, and appreciation of beauty as any other male does. to me, a good portrait is something that has a strong concept, something that is well executed. it doesn't have to tell me more about the person, it doesn't have to tell me a story. it just has to make me view some sense of beauty.. because that's what capturing people is about, no?

the tagline of P&P here is "more than just sitting and smiling". maybe it should be changed to "more than just stripping and smiling".

you should post more, i always like your work, btw.

Thanks for the compliment on my works though... but even then, most of the stuff i shoot don't have themes... they're just ... faces? :embrass:

but i agree though ... although sex sells.... how many of people here actually feels there's an ave. age before SEX can be a parcel of the marketing.... I just couldnt stand the "wackytalky hotline" look that i'm seeing more and more these days.... I mean .. i'm sure you guys can see the difference between someone that's confident with the air of sensuality and someone that's screaming "Come to me....*lick fingers*" ... and interesting thing to find out.... i'm not exactly sure if it's the photographers suggesting or the models that endorse that wacky talky idea....

Optimism could be more favourable than pessimism.
Just go and enjoy whatever you are doing and let the flow
of things be.

There will be a time when others will point a finger at you
that you shouldn't be doing this and doing that. Whatever
is happening is just a simple way so often used and commonly
known as that of "bartering".

welll, since u asked...... u noe the 'famous self claimed photographer or GWC' who appeared on the recent TNP article.. last heard, he is still scamming and paying those he is interested in for FOC and paid shoots... strictly ' looking great in lingerie' shoots... so u figure
