Nikon 50mm f1.2 AIS

Voigtlander 58 SLII is a great lens

I love its closer than normal focusing and beautiful image rendering with beautiful OOF image!

Here goes some OT but still related to FAST primes

the 55 f1.2 is a love/hate thing.. i thought it would be a good bargain over the 50mm f1.2 when a friend offered me his copy but i felt it was a little soft on widest then. back on those days when i was still using the zf 50 f1.4

and after i tried the 50mm f1.2, BAM! bought it immediately.

Of course... 50 1.2 AI-S miles ahead in term of optical quality compared to the 55 1.2!

nikon is the brand
50mm denotes focal length
f1.2 or 1.4 denotes maximum aperture

love this lens, love to use it for portraits in low light, at f/1.2 the softness gives a magical feel to portraits.

Finally, I get the above len from Chiif. Nikon AFS 50mm 1.4G is just to expensive.
