I am buying the standard lens for $60. Good deal?Based on forum's B&S section, I reckon you can't let it go for any higher than 100 bucks - better off keeping it unless you wanna fund it for the 50mm f/1.8 II. Good luck.
Will it be worth it if I buy a IS lens for 18-55mm for 1.6x crop?
Also, how much is a 350D body only worth?
That is expensive and no zoom isn't it?Shld be arnd 50-60bucks.
why not go for 50/1.8?
No more than $50. I guess everybody will just sell at 50, so don't bother bargaining. Just make sure you check the lens properly. And best to have free UV filter etc.

Sorry guys, had been using S2 IS then S5 IS all the while years back, I know nuts about DSLR and lenses.
Is there a huge impact on 17-55mm non IS vs 15-55mm IS?
How much is 17-55mm cost for 2nd hand??
oh 17-55
tat cost bout 1.1k to 1.2k for a second hand
17-55 is totally different from 18-55 lens

I really have no idea about the lens, but 50mm mean cannot zoom nor tele right? And 50mm x 1.6x mean permernantly at about 3x zoom??

yes, sorry to mention as I am getting a 450D.The 1.6x is the crop factor from the camera & not the lens... if you attach the lens to a 5D or 1D, it would still be 50mm.
