I'm confused about how many photos I can have on my flickr account. When uploading it tells me that I have used 5% out of 100MB this month, but on my home page it tells me that I've already uploaded 195 photos and will need to upgrade to a pro account after 5 more uploads.

So the maximum number of photos I can have as a regular member is only 200?

If i remember correctly, yes. only 200. I have not upgraded mine too, but its a matter of time. But i think you should upgrade, you got nice pics, 200 is just not enough for u.

yeap. flickr only allows 200 photos as a regular member. but i find the upgrade to a pro account very worth it, coz you'll get to upload and share unlimited photos, and you get to arrange your shots in collections (a group of sets), instead of just sets.

and when i got my account, i got a free set of "Moo Cards", which are little cards of your photos. :)

what are you going to do with your moo cards?

just a small correction, its the latest 200 that would be viewable.. those beyond that are still there, just that you're not able to see them, you can still have unlimited pics using 100MB a month..

5% of 100MB is the bandwidth. Every byte of the photo interms of size you upload is translated as the bandwidth usage you spent over at Flickr. So you can upload 100MB of photos per month. Bandwidth may costs money or traffic bottleneck for the site so limiting it prevents abuse like people up and delete photos as and when they like.
