i love the series...
i really enjoy the red dresses and the medical uniforms. it gives so much meaning and context to the photo that you normally cannot get from those fashion shoots. =)
it's great that you can make people take notice and ponder your photos with ordinary "models".

actually i realised that all you had to do if you really wanted to know the concept was to pry a little through the links i've given (oops), so yup, i won't post it here la. you can read more there if you want..


actually my most challenging shot was the dojo shot - it was my absolute first time working with strobes and i had no idea how to control the 2nd flash that i had initially intended to set up as a tube (430ex2 with omnibounce). as you can see, there're actually some resulting shadows from this flash, that actually i would have preferred to not be there. but oh well.. if anybody has any alternative to the placement of this flash, let me know! it's still a problem i can't solve till today.. i guess this resulting pic was just a compromise..

to me, I would think series 2 is a more difficult task, as I'd try to shoot the bldg at the bckgrd in the middle of the road, and it had only got to be done on a sunday, provided the light is right. I'd suppose you had choose a sunday too ?

thank you all... yup these are one of my most favourite stuff i've produced over a while.


series 2 was produced with some bit of luck from the weather (rainy, overcast, dark and cloudy) and it was actually shot on christmas day. it was definitely an experience - there were people staring, cars horning and zooming past us, and i think there were some who were taking photos of us shooting (urhhhh streets & candids section anyone?)... quite weird la. haha.

but it was surprisingly pretty safe... in a way. did a little trick to block out some traffic. hehheh
