Hi all sorry for the trouble again :embrass:
Please Read the second Paragraph immediately if you are busy

I am really feel like upgrading my d60
Cause I really don't like MF it since I am not good at it even if i use aperture or shutter
I really take a good look at the indicator and there is a very short range of focus area but I think if I hit wrong It will still be abit blur...

Is there any free interest or low interest rate installment plans as I want to upgrade a d60 to 5D mark II. I heard that Harvey Norman and Courts have but does Shops like MS color, Camera Workshop etc etc those normal camera shops have installments?

Any help is very much appreciated :D

 upgrade from (Nikon) D60 to (Canon) 5D Mark II?

anyway if you want to find interest free installment, you may consider using credit cards for installment plans... a lot of shops and megastores have such offer you may want to take a look... have a look, survey around

I believe he's referring to Canon's D60. Dang, that will be one major upgrade for you. :)

Anyway, so far, have only asked Song Brothers which accepts installment plan. Good luck.

And the solution is an upgrade to a) a different camera brand and b) to much higher level camera? That's not only 'a bit blur'...
Secondly: if you need installment plan for a hobby you should step back and get a cold shower. That's not a healthy way to go, honestly.
Keep in mind: no high end camera comes with bundled warranty for great pictures.

Thanks all for the comments. very much appreciated :D

thanks mr octarine for the advice. I thought maybe auto focus would be easier as i tried MF and find it quite hard and the indicator in my opinion i think is abit inconsistant perhaps you can help me on this? I did thought of changing to second hand d80 so i can AF on the 50mm but after reading through on some advice its not worth it. I thought if want to upgrade might as well upgrade to a better camera? I have used to d60 for at least a year already without any accessories.

I don't know what you mean by its not a healthy way to go? haha sorry care to explain? any advice?

it is not healthy because it means you are living beyond your means. if the camera is your tool to make a living and it generates enough income to cover your monthly instalment, then it is ok; but if it is just your hobby and no income will be generated from your camera/hobby, and you have to dig into your savings to fund the camera purchase, then it is bad.

the reason for the current financial tsunami basically is because the americans had been living beyond their means for too long ;)

Lol i think i really need go get cold shower. Wasn't thinking well

What exactly is "not worth it"? What advantages do you see by upgrading not just to D80 but far beyond AND to a different camera brand (=camera system)? Or: which limitations (except AF with some lenses) do you experience now that you want to overcome by getting a higher end camera (regardless which brand)?
Make a list and be very critical on technical features. Most are "nice to have" but not "must have", although marketing want to convince us otherwise. I know it is tempting to see the videos taken with the 5DII .. but that's darn clever marketing and a professional photographer!
Stick with Nikon if you like the handling, Canon is different. Maybe you can grab a 2nd hand D80 in "Classified"?

You will end up spending a bit not only on the body, but also on the EF lenses, the extra batts and stuffs. The costs of switching system can be quite abit because they really do not share much in between. Although your Nikon lenses that you MF on ur D60 might be able to work with an EOS adapter ( it is still MF ). And not to mention even a new processor to handle the file sizes.

D80 works as great as when it was first introduced ( as long as it is in working condition ).
There are other newer options like the D90 / D300 / D700 etc ( all of which are priced lower than the 5DMkII

If u keen to do instalment from mega stores like Harvey or Courts or Best Denki. You can go to Harvey Norman Funan. You can look for Eric or Bernard at Funan Harvey. But do take note the prices of items at mega stores are always Regular Retail Price or lower by a bit. As for Alan photo or others hv better offer when u pay a lump sum of cash to them...therefore cash is king...

Most recommended camera retailers like Alan Photo or Cathay offers 12 months instalment plans but local distributor warranty.

still i got from Harvey Norman store because i wanted to use instalments and enjoy their extended warranty http://www.harveynorman.com.sg/customer_service/customer_service.html Citibank card holders can go on 3 years instalment and Diners is 4 years stretch, zero instalment.

Or courts extended warranty covers accidental damage: http://www.courts.com.sg/eCourts/content/service/electrical_IT.html

Remember if you are to go on credit mode, dont overload yourself as credit is good to use but deadly too. And remember to sign up the credit insurance with the bank, so when u r gone your family can still enjoy your purchases because the credit insurance will write off the credit owned to the bank :)

Happy buying

if u are referring to credit card installment ..then CP have it...the price quoted are the same as one time CC payment...MS or AP will charge 3-5% if paymeny by CC installment...

hmmm to make purchase by installment is ok as long as it is still w/i your mean but maynot available to pay at one go...but to go from D60 to 5DMKII is ready a huge jump...have u master your D60 yet? and like many said by swithching brand doesnt auto reward with a "WOW" finlish product, is still very much depend on yourself. have u tot of the lens for 5DMKII ...it cost more for FF lenes...

have u consider to upgrade to better lens instead since u dont like MF? and u can pay by installment for lenes too..
