you can't actually choose the dpi right? standard is 300 dpi?
Hmm... thanx..
Curious in that case, you normally don't give the couple the full-size photo (12MP) right?
i suppose that's the norm btw, how much 8R would you give in a package?
Theoretically, cramping 12mp into a 4R seemed a lil extreme don't you think? Ask an expert, it's too technical for me to explain
I understand... but I was wondering should I use the original resolution (12MP) when I do touch-up, coz it would slow down the DI process. If I don't give them need to give them the originals, I might as well resize it before my DI.... Any thoughts?
For touch up it is better to use the original file since the pic will be bigger at full size and it will be easier to edit the photo this way. I'm assuming u mean removing the pimples, marks on her face, skin etc when you are referring to touch up.
Anson, thanks for the active participation. It really depends on the editor's skills if it were to be done personally otherwise just "tan chiak" by the shop uncle with $ involved. At 6 or 12mp, flaws are hardly discernible @ 4R for minor flaws, theoretically speaking. cheers
Bear in mind that they nail the WB and exposure during the shoot, so don't have to spend time to post processing, and also don't offer touchup on images, hense, the photographers able to spend more time shooting more assignment, and their packages are very low price too.
Thanks guys for the tip... Coz with my changing of cameras (ever increasing of MP). I find it harder & slower for post-editing (unless I invest on a new computer)....
