Today is christmas, i was thinking of doing christmas shopping for a 82mm UV filter for 16-35mm Canon Lens.

Anyone know if the retailers are open today?

Which brand of UV filter should i get for my lens? I zoom down to 2 brands: B+W and Hoya... still what the difference between the 2....

My current filter is Steinzeiser UV 82mm, should i replace it with Hoya or B+W

if you got spare cash to spare, get B+W... if not a Hoya will do fine... B+W Filters are just stronger build and (i think) better glass quality, but also harder to remove should it get dented... I use UV filters merely for protection~ so either one will do depending on your budget and needs..

this mth i already spent thousands and thousands on camera and equipment and lens....now left with UV filter and maybe a bigger camera bag. the most i spent on was my IPhone for 1.4k....but camera stuff is nuts lol but worthwhile when i use it
