You need to submit 4 prints, each reflecting diff themes from the 8 themes given. Meaning no repetition of theme.

since the rules state that "All prints submitted can be in monochrome, colour or combination of both", if i were to selectively colour one part of the photograph and desat the rest to monochrome, would that be allowed, or would that be considered only under digital imaging?

That will be considered as digital imaging. For your set of 4 prints, you can have either monochrome, colour or combination of both. The combination here means you can have eg. 2 colour prints + 2 monochrome prints or 1 colour print + 3 monochrome prints. Hope this clears any doubts.

Rule 3, distorting the reality of the photos means like removing huge elements and objects right. and rule 4..how "basic" should the enhancements be? Restricted to in-camera editing only or inclusive of limited tools in photoshop/lightroom/other image editing software?

Maybe just some contrast and colour adjustment?

Yup, thats right. Minor contrast and colour adjustment is ok. But if you were to make drastic changes like having a red sky, that will go into digital imaging.

The mounting on the card board, may i know is it DIY or where can we buy the mounting card board? First time for the competition. Please advise.
