Hi guys,

Asking if you come across any shops that accept CC 0% installmets payment?

Shop like :
MS
AP
CP
John
Lord
etc etc ...

They do but you have to check with them on what cards do they accept for the installment plan.

But if use credit card to pay.. sometime would be charge extra... ask for cash payment... most of the time.. ;)

save first till u have the amount, then use CC to pay. since it's a big purchase, some cards' rebate will be more than the surcharge itself. then settle the bill as soon as the bill comes. win-win ;)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I haven't see any CC's rebate at any of the mention shops...

i mean rebate given by bank, up to 5% by certain bank if spending is beyond an amount. after 2-3% surcharge, in effect u'll get 2-3% real discount on the camera. going to do that on tml.

Oh okie.... abit complicated for me.... I dun think I spend so much on my cc to qualify for the 5% rebate.... Thanks for telling... :)

so say this item cost me $1.6k. Does it include the 2% credit card charges?
Sorry noob in CC.... first time using CC for installmets

You have to ask the shop.... coz sometime the quote you based on cash payment... some shop also calculate before adding GST....

Mustafa has 0% installment plans for almost all the CC.
And their prices are already final, no CC surcharge.

Which means if they state $1200, means that the installments will be for $1200.
No additonal 4% for the prices or any administration fee.

One "bad" things about using CC's installments payment plan is that... if you are lock to a on-going plan... The CC's company would seldom give you free credit card annual fee waiver...

Quite true, but i rather spread out the payment if there is a 0% installment plan.
Instead of one shot around $2000, damn heart pain man. :bheart:

Dun noe leh.. for me I rather bit the bullet and spend it at one shot (if I can afford it) then to have a long draggier installment plan... 长痛不如短痛。。。 :)

Understand what you mean. But i rather have more "reserves" with me.
Most important is must be 0% installment, and the installment amount is well within my budget. :D

I do agree that with instalment u can go for more value and less pain. since i going to use the camera or lens for more than 2 years long term...why should i pay one shot. besides it is zero percent instalment

which bank and how many mths maximum?

If i not wrong i read before in the forum they accept Citibank, as for duration should be 6 to 12 months.

Same mentality as me. :bsmilie:

AP sls : uob , citibank
full payment by cc : price + 2%
installments: price + 6% / 12 mths

I am not sure if you can pay your installment in advance. I was told that there will be fees incurred if you terminate your installment plan early. I didnt verify so I cannot confirm.
