Creative Speakers vs Altec Lancing

Which will be your preferred choice of speakers as a gamer point of view? I am considering Altec Lancing for it's stability because not sure if many of you realised, when you max up a Creative Speakers, there is always this cracking sound behind the woofer.:think:

Though am not an expert at these but I would prefer to get BOSE instead of these two if I do not have any budget constraint.

Don't get BOSE which is overly price with moderate sound.

If you really do not have a budget constraint......there is only one nice super bookself....it will ultimately BLOW your BRAINS away......

Go audition the BOSE first.......then try this 2 I mentioned to you above.......as far as I know if you MAX out the volume on most computer speakers, it will start to crackle a little lar.

Yeah, I am looking at a 5 piece speaker.

Klipsch is good, compared to the overpriced BOSE. I can get the A2.1 at the price of 2.0 pro (at180sgd) as well, in the neighboring country, since the jacked up pricing of Klipsch in Sim Lin is ridiculous.

For above I'll choose Altec, I find the speakers better in built and quality.

Well......not much options for computer speakers except Creative or Altec.

Altec's have dropped the ball along time ago heheh..... RIP.

Creative has learnt quite abit from the Cambridge Sound Company they bought years ago. I think they sound pretty decent compare to most Altec I heard when I shop about in SL.

Klipsch is pretty good I agree. But the one I saw at SL abit too alien looking leh heheh...
