WHAT IF..... you could change the world with one product. a product which will improve the lives the many.

and you are given the ability to make it happen. what would it be ?

(cannot be products that would glorify war / hate or anything that is a weaponry)

for me... i hope the idea of having lasers to heal skin and burn injuries or the use of spray on skin would be good. imagine those poor folks stuck in fire... i guess this would help them.

whats your "world-changing" product ? :bsmilie:

some magic chemical that turns sh*t into food? :bsmilie:

not sure about KFC...

destroy greed, abit is good (keke, i know there's more than abit:sweat:). dun need a product, but have to fight some giants.

as the saying goes "thatz how the world works". start from there, something like reverse engineering lah.

It is already that wat ...just that you are not evolved or constructed in the right manner or species to consume it. heheheh......

would surgery help? :bsmilie: need dung beetle's belly, but so small...

waste dun need to be recycled lah. they biodegrade...

hmmm.... that concept is rather abstract...

was thinking about something what we can do with technology and how its gg to improve people's lives...

saturday really bored lah.........

help others by not buying too many stuff? stuff that can live without? reduce material wastage. material wastage causes inflation of raw materials.

:)

curing all illness may not be a good thing, cos it depnds on who control the access to the cure. thatz how reality is lah...

I've just finished watching The day the earth stood still. So, for your question: The world as in "the human world" or as in "the earth"?
All proposed solutions so far help human being grows even more. (no disease, plenty of food ...)
But we are killing the earth. And when the earth dies, all species die including us. So, that's not helping. Hahaha

I think better solution to save the "world" is an green power generator. Maybe from s**t (or anything less smelly) to electricity and giving out only 02 and H20.

Something that inserts 'Wisdom' into everyone.

To hit the govt over the head so that they start to look at green policies more seriously and stop sitting on the fence. Singapore should be the "Sweden" of Asia.

All housing to have some form of renewable energy (solar and/or wind). The govt has the technology to implement this.

All housing to have some form of grey water recycling.

All new housing to have a better eco-friendly bench mark

If the govt wants to pay themselves lots then do something to help the world become a better place and focus on long term harder environmental issues rather than this "softly softly" approach.

(sorry am in a bad mood with a certain EZ Link card $8 rip off!) ;)

I imagine we have to be cautious not to be over-zealous when advocating "green" technology.

Out of curiousity, can anybody state why we should switch to renewable (solar or wind) energy?

cos sunlight & wind dun have to buy. the cautious part is how such green technology is defined by profit seeking companies.

Because the earth did not charge us any cent for the oil we take, did not charge us any cent for the CO2 we dispose. It's unfair.
With green energy, we steal less.
