Looking for Film Canister Containers (Transluscent)

Hi guys,

I'm looking for those translucent white ones, as many as possible, intending to try to DIY them to act as a diffuser for my prosumer's flash, so i'll need more than a chance. :bsmilie:

Let me know if you have and if you want to charge a nominal fee, i wouldn't mind collecting from you at your own convenience.

actually, i think you can go to those film developing shops and ask. they always have tons on hand waiting to be thrown into the big black mouth of the dustbin.

i know they had this wholeeee box of film canisters (the metal bits) when i asked the uncle. he was like - nah, take all you want.

thanks buddy, i've been to several shops before and they mentioned that they have it anymore, perhaps i was a little too late. which shop have you been to? perhaps i'll look for them from your lead. thanks!

I may have some. These canisters usually come with slide film, so its harder to find.
Another alternative is for you to use milk bottles. Try Meiji fresh milk. Quite similar in
density.

may i have them if you don't have the need for it? of course i could buy you coffee/tea as well.

ah meiji bottles, that did come across my mind, but it doesn't look as customizable as it seems but i'll leave it as a last alternative.

used to have these SOMEWHERE in the house..bags of them... they make very good toiletries containers for travelling, u know ? :bsmilie: ... leakproof.... many can vouch for that

i want to thank everyone for the effort to recommend, dig up trash bags just for someone in need. Indeed, photography bonds friendship.

with that, i am pretty sure i will get more than just a film canister.
