Just wondering, how many Christians/Catholics are there on Clubsnap?
Looking for a new church next year...seeking a preferably close-knit community that is focused on biblical teaching.

Anyone goes to Church of our saviour here????

It depends on which area u live in. I attend St Bernadette (off River Valley Rd) whenever I am back in town. The folks there are friendly.

:)

I live in the west...willing to travel only as far as town.
St Bernadette...is it easily accessible? do they have active ministries and people who are "on fire" for Christ. Communities who strive to be more "christ-like", etc. Looking for a dynamic yet friendly church...or is that impossible? i'm feeling way too comfortable in my current church so not feeling challenged. Don't mind a Catholic or a Protestant church.

Please post to a church forum or something. CS doesn't allow religious discussions and I think that's fully justified.

i think the mods are allowing it but are keeping a close watch.

i noticed one post earlier missing. :)

I guess as long as it does not discuss religon per se, it should be fine ... but that line may inadvertently be crossed sooner or later.

Forums are actually a good place for networking and gathering information.

However, therein lies a potential paradox, because if more contributors join the discussion, conflicts of opinion may arise in due course, as it inadvertently would in any discussion involving organised religion.

Perhaps thread starter would like to invite the public to private message him instead, to be discreet. And yes, indeed mods are watching. :sweatsm:

Niaghtmare baaaad boi! :bsmilie:

DM takes out restraints and cat-o-nine-tails.

But it appears so ... and quite an impressive line-up of friends listings for someone so new ...

I think not true leh...

My aunt goes to the Catholic church in Woodlands, though they stayed at East Coast, I don't know the reason why they didn't go to somewhere nearer to home.

My grand parents were buried at the Big Catholic church near Boys Town Bukit Timah Road was it? sorry don't know the churches name, can someone tell me so I can put it on my Google Earth map.

i used to go to life bible-presbyterian. www.lifebpc.com. but hard for alot of young'uns to swallow cos its about as catholic in terms of the way worship services can get.
hymn-y, but v bible-steeped. small youth community (less than 50) but close.

my 宗教 is 睡觉 ...me loves everybody.....:D

It's near it I think. I remember it for it's unique "Asian" styled building with green roof tiles.
thanks... I'll labelled it as St. Joseph Church on my Google Earth, my Grand-parents wree buried about 25m apart.

Last I heard was that the Gov was planning to redevelop the land but that was about more than one year ago still no news if the graveyard will be exhumed. Very small graveyard probably about 500 graves...
