i need a GOOD slideshow program maker that is able to...

1) input video clips from my HD sony viewcam,
2) insert photos in between the video clips
3) have many transitions effects
4) input music
5) have ken burns effect

i think slideshowpro or proshow cant work on mac.(cant rem which one)

i dont mind paid softwares, and i dont mind high end programs too.

please help recommend as this is pretty urgent.

TIA

Pro Show Gold. ;)

For mac, final cut express takes the cake and it only cost below $400. (If you have an old video cam, you can get the slightly older version at below $200 (ie without the latest hardware support).

For a simple slide show, actually the latest mac OS version (10.5) of "imovie" has alot of great improvements. You should try it out first. Its much more easier to use than final cut.

Go to IM at Funan. They would have the expertise to advise on the mac products. If you need discount, letmeknow.:bsmilie:

For windows environment, ulead has some great bundles as well.

i've seen final cut before...wah...i think it'll take me sometime to learn how to use the program in the first place.

sigh...proshow gold cant use for mac....

too bad, proshow gold can do what you want, can even upload to youtube direct. but always crash, not sure is my machine or they still have lots of bugs..

i'm surprised the price is relatively cheap.

Honestly, you owe it to your good self to try out the latest version of imovie. It really is simple to use. Once you learnt imovie, go for final cut. Many videographers swear by fcp (with a macpro of course!)

Otherwise, you can always outsource the slideshow as a paid project to prosper the brothers and sisters here. :bsmilie: Any takers?
