I usually play with levels to get the histogram right in the end...i dunno..just personal preference..

usually levels a bit like contrast n saturation. at most play wif white balance n saturation to create "old" effect if d pic needs that effect...

hmmm... depending on what effect you wan on your photo i guess? maybe after you know what effect you wan, you can look up for online tutorials? there's plenty out there.

i edit colour tone to look more colourful:D

I will adjust level and color saturation.(I prefer rich and warm colour):)

i just use high pas filter to sharpen then sometimes curves to get the exposure i want.

Histogram, exposures, sharpness, color tone, white balance etc. There are a lot of things to edit. See what your photo editor can do and try out the features.

ignored.
Please do a search on google/youtube, which you can have more information and tutorials to learn from it.

Do you mean editing within camera or using software?

For me, I usually adjust Levels, Saturation, Contrast, Curves levels using Adobe Photoshop.

The most common thing I do with my images is give them a slight contrast boost with curves, and sometimes slight added saturation, though this is not likely.

My regular workflow basically revolves around this sequential process:

1) Look through all images, deleting those that are clearly not keepers
2) Colour correction and noise reduction
3) Slight contrast boost - check that after contrast boost, none of the important detail gets blown out through overexposure, or brought down through underexposure.

a lot of things if it was badly taken

a lot less things if it was well taken

best part is, usually after doing a lot of things i delete the photo anyways

moral of story - learn how to maximise in cam

In the old days they do it in a darkroom,
now u can do it on a computer!!

just treat it like a computer game & keep experimenting & have fun !! ;)

Photoshop has unlimited potentials. there are so many effects u can achieve. difficult to list all of them here.

haha i love that you call it a computer game. hahah.

i adjust curves mainly. some dodge and burn too. then depending on the feel of the photo, i add other embellishments like brushes and textures.

yes, i'm spoonfeeding you but you can try this website: http://photoshoptutorials.ws/
try some tutorials then you'll learn alot more about the different tools in photoshop and can apply it in future to your other photos.
