These are really nice watches. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever own one this lifetime!

Personally though, my object of desire would be a Graham watch.

Yup. Ball watches has a unique, yet niche pedigree. Status wise, might not be in the same league as brand like Omega. But, still affordable if I buy less lenses and cameras. Haha!

Ball watches are not bad. American design with Swiss mechanism. Specialty is the microgas lights for illumination and is anti-magnetic as well. The Diver TMT series is really nice.... comes with a thermometer as a complication. Haha.....

If you like Ball, take a look at Oris as well.

Personally, I like Panerai. Recently, brands like Sinn and U-Boat are becoming more popular.... and still at a lower price point....

Sinn watches remind me of Bell&Ross...very instrument-like...and very scientific. But definitely not cheap, especially Bell&Ross.

Which model is that? Engineer II Classic? Ohio? Those are simple and nice! Am thinking of getting the Engineer II Classic or the Engineer Master II Moon Glow.

Individual's preference. It's a luxury to own a piece of fine craftsmanship. As long as it's within one's reach, I think it's alright.

the new diver GMT is pretty sweet. they are pretty decent everyday watches imo..

Yup... owned the Engineer Master II Diver (Grey) for two years now and it has been a very reliable watch. The anti-magnetic mechanism was one of the main draw for me. One of the best buys and a very reliable daily wearing watches of mine.

I am a touring sound engineer by professional and am surrounded by massive speaker clusters at work and the amount of magnetism from the speaker magnets ruin watches without protection. That is why the feature on the Ball Watch was an important feature for me.
