I find on D90 LCD, the pics are more vivid..
on my com, haha like look dark..
C&C :b

The lcd brightness setting can fool one.....besides you should use Raw mainly with the D90 .

I am no master at this but using freeware image editor can get something nicer for 4R printing.

what freeware are you using?
I just found Free Image Editor 2.1.8.
and also just found ACR v5.1 which had support for D90.

wanna learn more on img processing

use the histogram,
do not trust the exposure based on the brightness of the LCD screen. ;)

how much you bought it?

1670 from lords (kit)
50mm F1.8 @ 175..

lords rated me all the standard price, well I like the service as the price do not jump so much.. although I cant bargain sob sob :(

as for the camera, did you check the pricing from other shops like john 3:16 and ms color?

As for Histogram, usually as long most in the middle is good depending on the effect you want. Too high on the left means too dark and too high on right means too light..simply said.
try practice taking picture only on ordinary black, white, gray paper and you will see what i mean.

That's cos the Canon version is 'Gelded' and therefore cheaper  But yea, $175 is a tad pricey for a 50 f1.8, got mine at $150.

erm.. dun make me sad abt the price man.. but would not mind.. since i got it.. I live with it..
I just wanna take pic with it now with good bokeh..
find that on the kit.. @ F3.5, just not shiok enough.

BUT ya did you get it for $150..
I was actually thinking 175 high at first..

usually want to buy anything get prices from other shops first and then see if the shop you prefer can match the price or even lower.

anyway damages have been made. so I wont get affected la.
now I jus wanna make the best pictures out of the lens first.

I find that the kit lens is real good, but find the bokeh not enough..

and luckily not canon, else I be stuck at 17-85mm :b
