Hi,
This is my very first dslr I've bought and have never used any Nikon Dslr before.
just got my D90 not long ago and I realised a problem.
Every couple shots I take, this "r13" number would appear through the viewfinder and also my LCD screen. Is that an error?

Somebody please help me.....

R13 is the number of 'R'emaining pictures before the buffer fills up. Thus, when it reads 'R13' it is telling you that you have 13 pictures you can take at full frame rate before the buffer clogs up and your rate will drop down to a lower rate.

you could also check the M/A M switch on the lens if applicable and make sure it is on M/A. Then check that the focus mode selector switch is on C or S, not M. Also, check your release mode that you aren’t in Live View.
