for the first time!!

i've always made purchases and had them shipped by fed-ex to me etc.. and it was all fine..

so when i decided that i have something heavy i want to send out to someone, i applied for a fed-ex account online which needed customer service's approval, the automated reply says "We are processing your request and will get back to you by next business day."

in the mean time i emailed the helpdesk on some enquiries as well.. the helpdesk lady, an indian lady replied saying she has forwarded my queries to the customer service, and will get back to me the nxt business day.

so i waited.. day 1.. no reply... day 2.. no reply.. day 3 no reply.. so i forwarded the email to helpdesk.. another indian lady replied and said "We have forwarded this matter to the respective department for their immediate attention and kindly wait for their feedback."

day4... 5.... 6....7... almost day 8 already!! how immediate is their attention?!?!?!?

anyone with similar experiences?

local or overseas? atlanta?

i find overall, if you wanna set local (sg) account with these courier services, their speed is rather slow cos they need to get the CS to speak to you and do a check if you will use their services regularly or not.

i have a personal account with them ..

i do agree is freaking slow on the application / help desk side - need to push them real hard
the other time i fax something over, after a week. they still cannot locate my fax and ask me to re-fax it over

but i am happy with their deliver services and their tracking system the best compare to rest of one i deal with

call them and tell them you are still waiting for their response/feedback after 8 working days.

and you would appreciate if you can be transferred to the person in charge or someone who could attend to your request immediately.
;)

i think the best way is to call them up ?

drop the hq an email, citing your awb. just indicate your concern if it was the fake fedex man who did your job and hence parcel missing. this will probably rake some concerns - at least, at the international level. :bsmilie:

fastest is still the uncle on motor. you call, he comes, he send. no need paperwork. :bsmilie:

On the whole I am quite satisfied with them as well.
I got no issues with UPS either.

The only delivery service that needs to push once in a while is Vpost ...

My experience with other couriers vs fedex when i was abroad:
Vpost: Slow but still get parcel
DHL: always get parcel, great service
Fedex: always get parcel, no problem
UPS: (Out of 50 parcels) Lost 3 parcels as the courier man was lazy, left in front of the door without a note and signed on my behalf! (one of the parcel was a heavy carton measured over 1m tall as it was a gym equipment).

Verdict: Will not use UPS unless it is the default courier service from the vendor.

Bro dun call Customer Service as they are based in Malaysia...... trust me

i thought Fedex & UPS merged.

Fedex + UPS = FED UP

So in the end, we still are better off trusting our dog to deliver our items.
