The F1 cars is very noisy about 130 db each, as noisy as a jet flighter sound. You can walk outside the fence and feel the F1 race.

All the best vantage points and also if you want to walkabout to taste the scene, food and entertainment..it is within the boundary of the race track. I was trying to figure out how to get there by bike but looks like they cover most of the area very well and restricted..... and you can only get to them if you pay at the cheapest being the daily entry rate. It's like $58 for tomorrow and $108 for Sunday. This means you get to be near the barricade to view the race but if you want to cheap it out....you will to go to great lengths to look for areas just outside the walkabout area to catch a glimpse but of course it means you also will not get to see the entertainment, food..etc. Sux heh...

I am still contemplating to go or not for either days man....

Aiya...I went to Sepang once previously. So not really a die die must go. If so, would have cast out the bigger bucks and paid for the grand stand. Hard pain leh..can buy a HTC Pro with that budget.

The walkabout area is MORE then just the Old Parliment area.. It is spread over the entire race track minus the pit and some other areas if you look at the map. Would be great if I could bring the bike in but I don't think they will allow it. It would be the ideal transportation to get home. I have nightmare of other events over the years and trying to get home by taxi and MRT. Never again. I am a big fan but I don't need to shoot my favorite race team to enjoy it lah. I am also concern with witnessing more Kiasu nonsense by people moer then anything else. And I might not be able to hold back and start swearing at them. heheh... This not Photo Aids. I don't need to be "nice" anymore.

ya, ah seng, YOU CAN DO IT...

u can ride your bike along side the F1... see who ride faster...

You kidding me...short spurts I only managed about 35km/h. Those cars on the slowest bends are still doing 70-80km/h leh... heeh you want to see me kill my legs har? :sticktong Actually I was not thinking of cycling into the place. To be honest I was thinking somewhere "higher" up..it will mean I take the east coast route to get up and then from the top shoot down on the track..* me not saying anymore in case others want to try * But at the same time, I am worry they might SEAL the path going up there or there will also be alot of people going up there to look down and not have to pay heheh...

Not likely tonight lah... I am at home now....saw the crowds from the train....did not bother to disembark to go spy spy.

Tomorrow have to work half day so will spy tomorrow afternoon and then see if should go spend the day/night there or go home and bike there or just blow it and go on Sunday.

No they don't. I was not talking about bring my bike into the walkabout. Technically I would be outside on a bridge high up looking down at the track and pit area I think.

No Hayabusa superbike for me. Real leg power that is something you don't use money to buy. :)

notice quite a number of drivers making mistakes in the last turn. :bsmilie:

was travelling by bus on the way home .. the most prominent part from the bridge have been cordoned off by the police.. and there are pple "guarding" that section pf the bridge incase someone goes of the barrier .. it hardly accesible :(
