I brought a dryer from LG, the high end type. Now, my shirt seem dont have those smell any more. Even for those clothes which give out a bad smell when I sweat, the smell is gone after using the dryer.

But after drying, the filter will have a lot of dust. I suspect dust is the main cause of the smell. Now I even use my dryer to heat up the pillow n the pillow "grow" as the cotton dried up. Seem like an ideal way to solve the problem? But one thing for sure, electric bill sure go up. :bheart::(

u trying to make a personal blog here?

That's good. :) How much did the dryer cost you?

the dust is prob cloth fibres
which means that your shirt will not last as long

your old problem is prob due to your clothes not being totally dry
whenever you can, put your clothes in the sun to dry

My area design very bad, sunlight can't reach the clothes area. Furthermore, I got to risk them for rain if I went for meal as I might be away for an hour or so. I only can sun them if I bring to downstair but I need to watch it else the clothe rack might fall due to wind. Fedup, get a dryer, solve all problem but not for $ :(

I got it slighty more than 1k.

That's quite ex... Got UV to kill germs also?

I LOVE  the dryer. Esp during raining days. Not afraid of my shirt not dry and will get wet if hang them out. BEST investment so far, compare to my DVD Recorder which hardly use! :bheart:

wah lao eh... u dig your own thread out to praise the dryer...

I agree with this explaination too, the foul smell is due to clothes not drying fast enough. Bacteria causes those foul smells. Also, UV is known to kill bacteria but drying clothes under strong sunlight has the same effect :)

But is only good for whites. Colored clothes get bleached by the UV.

Reversing your clothing might help a little, and TS is very happy indeed with his no smell solution! Drying in the wind is also good if you have sunlight dries faster.........

Wrong! Drying in the wind will still have a foul smell in the end. That's why I brought the dryer. The dryer is not using UV, is using heat. Although cost more than other brand (double) but still worth it. My neighbour got one dryer and she brought for 400+. In the end, she needs 2 cycles of drying and also, a BIG vaccum pipe for drawing out the hot air. Mine don't have to, just look like a washing machine, no tube out (can be attach if wanted). My shirt use to stink after a 15 mins walk for meal previous but nowadays, wear few days also no smell. Really  for the dryer and also, bill increase not much, totally worth it for a cleaner laundry

That might explain the initial problems with smell... :p

I dont wear shirt at home and so, only during trips to downstair only. But before dryer, wear once, stink! On top of that, when take out from the closet, got fungus too! After dryer, no fungus n smell, yippe!
