Identifying 50mm f1.4 lenses

Hello, I'm interested in picking up one of the old super takumar 50mm f1.4 lenses but am uncertain as to how to identify which version they are. Actually, is there a difference between the versions? Thanks!

Oh. I've been through that site. Thanks tho =p ebay's been having those at rather sweet prices, but I've been unable to tell from the images which lens was which. I hear the latest one is also sharpest, but that isn't very useful when not knowing how it looks like =p

Ok I just noticed. The SMC versions onwards have the rubberized focus ring, and the description on the front. Thanks!
