Where to get Dry Box Nowaday?

Hi my dry box is already coming to 20 year .The seal should not be effective and its time to
replace a new one.
I had consider for the dry cabinet, but due to there is no power point in my store room
hence consider to buy back the dry box.
But now a day its seen very limited choice and prices is very high.
Any one can recommend a place which have more variety and reasoable prices to me?;p

Is it like those container which use to store food, and can be vaccumed

its located at Peninsula Shopping Complex L1. i forgot the unit number walk in from entrance same facing (facing Peninsula Plaza) as Watson's nearby.

$80 seen to be very expensive for a Dry box. +$20 may be can get a Dry cabinet liao :bigeyes:

rather spend less, a dry cabinet is too big for my needs also. not to mention it sipping electricity which isn't free. silica gel is much cheaper for me.

i can squeeze in my D80 with grip, sb600, 50mmf1.8, 18-135mm f3.5-5.6, and my rocket blower(squeezed a bit). but if you get any bigger lens, then the dry box is kinda small. i think i need to get a container and throw in silica gel for my 80-200 f2.8

I think you can find some dryboxes at Carrefour too, quite decent prices.

Ive already done the maths and posted it on the forums last time. A 30L dry cabi will use less than 5 bucks of electricity per year.

This dry box may be good for one body and two lens ??
If you got many lens ,I think Dry cabinet will be more suitable;p

thatz if the tarrifs remain unchanged. but thats rather economical. would this apply to all brands & any size?

Couldn't find it anymore at Carrefour Suntec. They only sell dry cabinets (if not wrong 30L is at $118). However >$150 free delivery. Akarui 20L is at $118 at Cathay Photo.

The drybox is at $25 at John 3:16.

Power consumption for Digicabi is at 4W, Akarui 20L is at 1.x W. Can easily do the math.
