What drove you to wanna switch in the first place ?

kena brainwashed by the Nikon commercial during Olympics?

if u are convinced and have the $$$ why not?

your shots are fine as they are...yr camera is more capable than you think it is.

yeah, i'm investing on carl zesis lesnes, quite costly, i'm reusing my old lense erm, it's from my Minolta 500si lense, it's a good lense although from a SLR camera..

Ouh okay, i should maximise the usage, thanks :)

If you're planning to, or have already invested in additional Carl Zeiss lenses for your Sony A100, why then are you still considering switching camps to Nikon? Wouldn't the lens investment be money down the drain in this case? Or maybe you are passing the Sony to someone else?

erm, i'm jux considerin' i may want to change to nikon's D60

If you want to change, change earlier before you invested into too many lens.

For Nikon, there are plenty of good lens, accurate flash systems and have full-frame body too. I find Nikon's bodies very well built and durable. I believe more people are using Nikon than Sony, so can easily find Nikonians to talk to, to share and exchange tips on their systems.

You have a 500si too? Great cam., I have 1 too. :) Perhaps you would like to join us on our outings more often to get to know more Alpha users and share your experiences with them. ;)

Bro, be aware you'll lose a lot of features in the D60...

Maybe a better move would be to switch to an A700 if you feel the A100 is limiting you? There will be lots on sale starting next week in the Marketplace section of this forum. :)

You'll be far more limited by the D60 than the A100. don't underestimate the gem you already have. Join the Alpha shooters in our outings. :)

hash okayys, i knew it that Sony has it in it cox of minolta hahs ouh well, i shall wait for the upcummin' model then not the A-700

Be aware that if you switch to a D60, you're still using a Sony sensor. So best to stick to Sony. :)

Woah there... Try to type in a language that all of us can understand. We use plain ENGLISH in this forum. Some of the stuff you type, I don't have a clue. Not all of us on clubsnap belong to the sms generation, you know what I mean? ;)
For example, what is "i knew it that Sony has it in it cox of minolta..." ??
There are 3 "it"'s in there...

It's "upcoming", not "upcummin' ", which is actually less efficient since it requires 1 additional keystroke (the apostrophe).
