Hi Parampita,
Thank you for your interest in the course.
I'm sorry that we only planned to start with Nikon Cameras and lenses. There's a lot a camera brands and topics which can be discussed, but we decided to start with Nikon first based on request.

If the course turns out successful, we will organize a few more to discuss other brands and topics. Please let me know which topic you are interested in. We will try to arrange a few more courses depending on feedback.

The class will cover the following
1) Actual disassembling and cleaning of prime (50mmF1.8) and kit lens (any kit lens that the participants want to work on)
2) Clean sensors
3) Disassemble/clean/replace viewfinder and focusing screen. A dummy camera will be provided for hands-on training. ( You can practice first before working on your camera)
4) Disassemble old Nikon SLR and MF lenses

hi.. i am interested... do we have to bring our own lenses? or would lenses be provided too?

Lmodel,
VR lens are okay. We will not touch the VR unit.

oracle00,
Lenses will not be provided. Please bring your own to practise. Can lend you mine if you really don't have.

Thank you very much for your strong support. :)

Any problem with VR lens?

Sorry, I don't have a VR lens for demo purpose. We can discuss a bit if we have spare time.

hi.. i am interested... do we have to bring our own lenses? or would lenses be provided too?

You can bring any kit lens or prime lens (please don't bring those expensive ones) and I can guide you how to clean it

Hi Lmodel
Sorry for the confusion there. What we are saying is that you can bring the VR lens along and Fatigue will show you how to clean it if time permits. But the actual demo will be using a 18-70 kit lens (no VR). Fatigue did mention to me that cleaning a VR kit lens (eg. 18-55 VR) is similar to a non-VR version.

Count me in for Canon course :D
