Which of the 2 cameras should I get? I am looking for a compact camera that is good in the low light conditions especially. To me Any comments and suggestions? thanks

f100 for sure... fuji superCCD + 28mm wide. this 2 point warrant me to choose it over W300

The 1/1.7" CCD in the W300 is easily a match for the Fuji. It may not be 28mm wide, but it's a very very sharp CZ lens. My vote goes to the W300. :)

From the link provided by bro cheersjy, we can see that Sony has improved on the noise level but it seems that the pictures are warmer.

Nontheless, I would say that Sony cams are definitely getting better.

personally i go for wide, and btw if dpreview is correct, the W300 pixel density is almost 50% higher than the fuji f100fd (25MP/cm2 @ 1/1.6" vs 36MP/cm2 @ 1/1.7"), further more superCCD have proven it good ISO performance in the past.

no doubt like Galdor said, sony does seem to improve alot in the noise control, but as of now, i still trust fuji more.
