Hello to everyone,

Just drop by a long time ago and read some of your good tips and articles about photography.
And planning to get the Olympus system this comex event, any advice? I would like to concentrate in macro, landscape and portrait/glamour.

cheers to all...

From the interest that you list down, for lens, the Zuiko 50mm & Zuiko 12-60mm lenses should do just fine... even the kit lens(14-42mm) are darn good too...

For body, there's E410, E420, E510, E520 & E3 to choose from. See which one fits your needs... & fits your hand well...

Dropby the four thirds forum in clubsnap for further information...

A better place for your queries ...

check out the pics here esp those by a adrewine ;)

If you can afford it go for an E3, that is if you like its feel. Otherwise the E520 is excellent.

Don't buy the entire system at once .....

What's your budget? Have to plan a little first b4 you buy, if not you'll burn a hole in your pocket. Do drop by the 4/3 section in CS for more queries.

hi sirs,
Thanks for the advice... I'll drop by to the comex event yesterday and here's what i got. still digging. hehehe;p

E-520 is one of my pick because of the dual lens (14-42mm + 70-300mm) offer + FL36R (i can get the flash as free if i buy the package yesterday, i dunno if its still ok for today.)

if i get the E-3, too expensive for me :( without the lens.

By the way, please drop by to my gallery thus photos are taken using my kodak C875 compact camera and Canon EOS 350D. C & C was highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hehe you might want to change the title of this thread? Saw your photos and newbies don't take shots like an amateur / intermediate slr user.

If you insist on 4/3 just note the 2.0 crop factor and lens add-on choices for your type of photography (i.e macro, landscape and potraits), any limitations on choices of lenses and hardware lightings for you?

Since E3 is out of your budget i guess that means the newer models E420 and E520 for you. Both comes with live-view and a very slight difference in prices. E520 comes with a distinct advantage of image-stabilization built in cam body which helps at times if you ever were to mount a 75~300mm lens on it.

Hi All,

I'm Vincent,

New to this community
but not new to photography.

I 'm a film era guy
Gave up this hobby many, many years ago.

Trying to get into the digital world, then,
bought a Canon350D with kit lens beginning of the year
Sold it away after my trip to Europe, reason: no fun

Got to start learning from the pros in this community.

Younger generation on photography are really blessed.
I'm also being blessed
cos I can join you all out there in the digital world......

Looking for another Canon.........

Thanks fellows..
