How far have your Pentax been with you?

Just wondering how many of 'us' (I'm not included..........yet) bring along their camera when they travel overseas. Its sure is exciting to capture nice images, images that will never be found here in SG.

Could there be overseas CS-ers who are Pentax users? Would love to see their images...:sweatsm:

of course we do bring our pentax camera when we are overseas, at least i do, im sure the rest too...

a lot of night86mare's wonderful shots are taken overseas since he will be base in London for a while...

i always bring my cam overseas unless it is a location trip without any hope - e.g. johore shopping trip, which means.. unless i want to take photos of angry security guards trying to get me keep the camera.. might as well not bring it along..

not sure what you mean by "overseas" - foreigner? but i am in london for a large part of the year.. :dunno:

My Pentax, which I bought in late Jan this year, has been with me to Tasmania - that's the furthest I've travelled with it.

Yes, i too will bring my Pentax camera overseas. It always travel with me.

As for overseas CS-ers who are Pentax users, roentarre is from Australia and CS Lee from Malaysia.

My furthest is K10D+DA12-24 on 2000m on Mount Fuji, temperature 0 degrees. Camera been to Beijing and Xi'an too.

No problems with security, but once had to take camera and lenses out of bag to pass through x-ray separately. Tripod has to be below certain length to carry on.

not that bad.. you either wear gloves.. but it is really quite sian to take pictures with gloves on - not used to it at all.. the feel is very weird.

or you just take out for short periods.. hehe

travelling overseas with your camera gear not a problem at all to any country you enter.
For me less travel now, so most of the time carry my camera to work...
