Heya guys,

Not sure how many folks out there are eBayers.... but got a seemingly good deal introduced to me last nite..... you get like 25% off the product price when you do a buy it now transaction, and this is paid for by Microsoft.

You will need a eBay account linked to a valid PayPal.....

1. Log on to www.live.com and perform a search into say "Nikon D300", you will get a return page which has a sponsored eBay link right at the top.

2. Next, click on that and you will go to eBay.

3. Now, delete the "Nikon D300" and do a search for whatever you intend to buy, for example, "Sigma 180mm".

4. You will get a list of "Sigma 180mm" lens...... Click on "Buy It Now" at say the listed price of US$800.

5. Check that there is the "Live Cash Back" logo at the top of the next page before you CONFIRM your transaction..... and pay via PayPal....

6. If there is NO LIVE CASH BACK logo, then something may not satisfy the criteria for the Live Cashback program.

If you get the above right, and with reading some of the small prints around, you will get a 25% off your product price or up to US$250. In the example above, it would be US$200.

This would be credited into your PayPal account 2-3 days after the transaction with the approved Live Cashback program. The monies would be held for 60 days from the day of transaction to ensure that there is no disputes etc. And then you will get that amount credited into your PayPal. It is YOURS !

I purchased a lens several days back and I have the 25% cashback pending release to my paypal account now. Seems to be a straight offer and not a scam.

IMPORTANT NOTE
*************
- If there is no indication that the product qualifies for LIVE CASHBACK, i.e. no logo there, do not BUY THE ITEM as this will not qualify you for the cashback.
- You have to start from LIVE.COM as this is a sponsored Microsoft program which I presume is to launch their search website..... and I think there's a time limit to this as well, like 60 mins after you have started the search from www.live.com or something.....
- There might be some conditions to fulfill when you try this, so please MAKE SURE you have the confirmed eligibility logo before you confirm payment
- Please read the small prints in the promotion. Seems to work for me though.....
- Just to note, I do not benefit from this in any ways. Just that a chap introduced me to this deal and it seems legit, so am sharing this bit of information.

DISCLAIMER
- TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK !
- PLEASE DO NOT COME LOOKING FOR ME TO GET MONIES BACK !
- READ THE SMALL PRINTS ON THE PROGRAM

You gotta go to the www.live.com and then make sure the upper right corner is selected under United States. Any other region will not have this working.

I have a US shipping address via Vpost. Seems to be ok for me. But bad news is that the 25% off dropped to 15% off over the weekend. I think MS putting out a pool of money just to launch the search.live.com website.....

Just tried it with the United States selected. The offer is still eligible on 15% via eBay.com. Try again ?

Hope so. I still have many days to wait before the pending becomes released funds... haha....

Guess this appeals to only those who like ebay.... anyways, thanks for the verification. I feel better myself already. ;)

Yes, this is legit. I had a US friend who bought a Wii from eBay at the 25% discount. YMMV though.
