I dun see anything wrong posting this thread, this is a free fourm??

this is a good reminder to shoot while things r still around, & in the event if caught in a situation out of the blue. as long as still alive & unharmed be thankful it did not turn into a wake.

if i were the groom wadever is still standing is worth a pic. sometimes how often kenna this type of thingyet relatively unharmed? that itself is worth remembering. :)

that wedding is quake-proof- tested & passed with flying colors!

The couple sure have a wild story to tell their kids!

Because shots like these are not as cool as some of you will think, it is a reminder of a disaster where thousands of people died. When the people involved look at the photos, it might not be as wild as you all think as these people may have lost loved ones in the earthquake. Nice photos, dead relatives, what's so great about it?

Again, it's not a wedding, it's a photo shoot.

No offence, but i don't suscribe to your point of view. In that case, should photos of WWI and WWII be destroyed, since it's a reminder of more than 45 million lives lost? Should pictures/videos of the tsunami that hit most of Asia on boxing day be purged? SHould all the pictures of all the damn conflicts that seem to be going on now, and have gone on in the past, all be purged as well?

If the TS had made a joke with poor taste about it, then I'd be joining you in blasting him. but he said "luckily no one was harmed during the shoot... ". I fail to see how this belittles the loss of so many.

Having said all that, I mean no offense, and I do apologise if you do take offense. I am fortunate enough to not have lost anyone I know or dear to me in that earthquake, for that I am glad.

Sure, there isn't anything wrong with the first post, but it will when others add on to it.

Like I said, why bring up something so unpleasent again?

And did I say destroy anything?

Then lambast those who add on things in poor taste.

Not that i think such "unpleasant" things should be brought up again.

Anyway lets not OT here, since the TS doesn't seem to be coming to the thread anyway, any discussion would be pointless.

cos there is a lesson that should most of us not miss. that is to value our life, history has lots of valueable lessons we can learn from. but as unfortunate as it is in reality, we may never learn from the past as effectively as going through such ordeal ourselves.

And did I say destroy anything?

the past holds valueable lessons for the present, & its those of suffering & hardship that we should not turn our backs from. if we don't learn from past mistakes, we'll likely repeat them in future. as unpleasant as some can be, it can't be worse than experiencing them 1st-hand rite? for those who take every effort to shy away from unpleasant situations, they deprive themselves a chance to learn to cope & overcome hardship when faced with similiar situation.

therefore most try to avoid the unpleasant subject altogether. when faced with similiar situations maybe we'll just cover our eyes & ears? :nono:
