That CSer seems to only post in B&S/PC section, like all internet sales it's good to practise cautions. Like ask for original receipt, COD (since it's local), make sure u test and check the item carefully.:) $500 is a good price for a new set with kit lens^^ Used with kit lens is abt $450.

Hi longko,

I also saw that you wanna sell your K100D also right?
But if I'm not wrong your K100D warranty is over? Ohh too bad
I'm looking for K100D with at least a couple month warranty just in case
something happen.

Thanks for your tips though.

Are you talking about the body or the lens?
The Camera Workshop (TCW) at Peninsula Plaza does offer lens cleaning services at a lower price than the authorised dealer. You can try them too.:)

Goodness! yesterday' s digital life advertised the K20D as costing $2700! And they compared this with the other makes' low end models, hence making the Pentax look expensive. :(
This is way off the typical price of around $2000+?

Shriro needs to advertise more in DL to make DL happy:bsmilie: Did u read what it says? Made for people who wants big picture:sticktong

how did they compare a FOURTEEN MEGAPIXEL camera with low end - those are anything from 10-12...

biased la :bsmilie: unless today's idea of high end versus low end is how close it sounds to a machine gun in burst rate mode :bsmilie:

DL is very general in general. yesterday article was very misleading but at least they mentioned k20d can take mulitiple picture. a few of us keep blog of our photography. maybe it is time we publish these blogs to create more awareness about pentax. creampuff & sbcyeo are two that i frequent. too bad they dont take comments. :kok:

It's very hard to get exposure for Pentax seriously. We're the only ones without a big showing, plus we got no fancy service centers like Nikon, Canon and Olympus. At least they have decent looking service centers that says their company name, and not another company's name.

I guess their definition for "Made for people who wants big picture" is referring to the 14 megapixels sensor. But it is quite pointless to mention it since the word "BIG" picture is very vague.

I guess the price tag published is to compliment their comment of big picture and "Second" to the super high end 1Ds MIII.

West to MS Color yesterday. They have quite a few Pentax lenses in stock.

DA*300
DA*200
DA55-300
DA18-55
DA18-55II
DA18-250
DA50-200
DA12-24
DA10-17FE
and a few others I cant remember.

hi anyone knows the price for k20d grey set and where to get it. Thanks (body only)

$1600 from Orient Photo (6th floor, SLS) several weeks back. Probably even lower now :)

Any idea if Orient does credit cards? The last time I went a long time ago, they didn't...

Yes, they take credit card w/ 3% extra. They don't like Nets due to the addition cost. I think it's better just give them cash if you are using Nets card, no difference to the buyer, why not let them make more profit too :)

sometimes can use Nets as a little bargaining, although very little but better than nothing...
i ask the price, they will quote, i say give Nets cos no enough cash and they will say also same price, so i say i give u cash la reduce a bit, and usually can squeeze 2 to 5 dollars...:bsmilie:

I want to get a K20D via installment... Seems like they don't offer any kind of plans with any of the cards...
