I was at the beach when tripod tiptoed and left side sink into sand..
Removed a lot of sand from LCD/rim of viewfinder.. No water found..
No scratch on body cos the metal connecting the strap hit rock i guess..

Time to flick a coin and decide whether u are in deep s**t or a lucky bast**d

shouldn't be any problem la....fire a few shots, see exposure still accurate anot, whether shutter got funny sound...

if not, no problem one la...cause tripod fall quite 'gracefully' one..and from not-so-high and on sand....no problem one la..

wet sand? i don even bother... if water thats another different thing.

especially sea water...

thanks all.. luckily all is fine i guess.. cos I didnt see water cos the sand is 20cm above water level though wet..
removed sand and shot photos for quite a while..

upon return home used a brush and removed more sand from corners.. and put in drybox liao..

scared what might be unforeseen dangers..
