Hi Pentaxians!

Any of you have used Sigma Electronic Flash 280pa?
I grabbed it for my P30N and it simply works.
But I want to do further reading on it but can't find any material from the net.
(this did not come with a manual or box).

Thanks!

I suggest u search on Sigma 280. PA means it's for Pentax.

Someone mentioned it does not fit K100D due to hotshoe;

You can also check out this thread;

Advise is unless u are sure the trigger voltage of the flash is less than 20V, DO NOT mount it on DSLR as it may kill the camera.

Hi longko, thanks for the reply.

I had read the links you mentioned. It gave a slight info about this flash.

I don't have a K100D but will be using this flash with my P30N. So far it works.
What I'm looking for is the technical specification of this flash or some (scanned) user manual maybe. Searched the web but still can't find.

So far got these info from an online store:

"Fully dedicated for Pentax SF-series 35mm SLR cameras adjusts lens focus automatically out to 23 ft., has TTL and ATTL auto-exposure to 50 ft. maximum and ISO 100 guide number rating of 92.

Has exposure confirmation LED, locking hot shoe and 0.2 - 6 sec. recycling.

Includes storage pouch.

Requires 4 AA batteries, not included.

Shipping Weight: 0.80 pounds"
