Need your opinion

My friend went for this interview for a full time position with this company and one month later she received an e-mail asking her if she was still interested in the job. However, they wanted to give her a part-time weekend position and to take 2 months to evaluate whether she was suitable for the full-time post. After a few days boss called and right at the end of the convesation asked if she wanted to take a short (3month) contract position for the full time job so that they can evaluate her suitability. My friend went home and decided that the pay was very low and decided on the part-time one. Oh yes, when she asked the boss to reconsider the pay for the contract position there was no response. Suddenly, there was no sound from the boss for a week. Then, the boss wrote and asked if she was still wants the part-time position. Since my friend is now suffering from job hunt frustration, should she ask for the contract position, take the part-time position or go on a vacation?:think:

i think your fren shld find another job... haha.. seem to me that the company not sincere... normally when they offer 3mth contract or part time, there not much benefit n they pay r LOW... y not take temp job? can share wat industry is she looking for?

i went for an interview b4 n tat company required me to do a program to test my skills.. after tat also offer me 3mth contract to 'test' water... n the pay super low + no benefit... i will rather take a long term job n it also will look nicer on your resume...

Thanks for your response. Agree that the company is not sincere. Actually, she really wanted this job but it took a month before they responded. Hence, the frustration. Probably, if they gave her the contract position/ part-time position right away it would of been a bit better. Temp job - pay even worse. Not worth it! She is looking for an admiistrator job. Any lobang?

Sounds like yours was an IT job. Am I right?

actually i think tat company dont really need ppl or need someone for 3mth only... i dont have any lobang for admin job... wat about job agency? your administrator is referring to admin job or IT adminirator? hahaa

find another employer. The way the boss is behaving, tells me he is looking out for something he wants, and not the suitable one that applies first. In other words he's letting others wait while choosing.

Actually, the company is very new and I think they are being very cautious with who they hire. Inexperienced too!
