Hi to all I m pretty new in this hobby,hope that fellow forumers can give me some comment and what to improve on. I personally feel that the pics is abit grainy, how can i overcome this ? should i go for fix aperture lens? thanks.
I took this photo when i was on a trip to USA few months ago. I still can remember it was a warm and fine day. Time about 1945 hrs and i relies the color just exploded. i took it wif

you gotta use click insert images. for example

the URL file name should end with .jpg
your initial link was .jpg?v=0 which the server can't locate the file.

There's no fix aperture lens. At least I have not come across. I think you meant PRIME lens, or fixed focal length lens. I can't really tell if your pic's grainny cos its kinda small. But Will a PRIME lens help with grain on your pic? I doubt so. If you want to reduce noise, bump down the ISO and use a tripod for nite shots. In addition, pick up post processing, like photoshop or other SW. Learning the basic photographic and post processing technique will help you achieve most if not all of your composition needs. Just passing on what i learned since I too am a newbie..but 2 years in.

I see. Yea..i guess its a constant aperture throughout the zoom range and thus constant aperture, instead of a varying aperture throughout the zoom range like the 17-85, f3.5-5.6. Anyways, regardless, my advise remains the same in that, for the kind of pic u posted, shooting at f2.8 would not be the desired setting. Therefore, a "constant aperture" lens will not help. Back to how to remove grain, use lower ISO setting or reduce the noise in post processing.
