Hi there. I have just joined this community and am looking forward to sharing and learning from others.

I am interested in wildlife photography and own the Olympus E3 and E500 cameras. My most used lenses are the Sigma 50-500 (better known as the Bigma) and a Zuiko 12-60 lens. The former lens is usually attched to the E3 and the latter to my E500.

Best wishes to all

PeterD:)

and always give some time to share your pictures... :)

Thank you for your welcome. I have posted some pictures in the gallery. The allowed file size though is a bit limiting and the max storage size is also a potential problem. are these a fixed size or does this alter as you post more on the forum?

Cheers

Most will use flickr or photobucket then just link here.

Thank you for your advice. Does this mean that most of the photos are linked to the forum messages and not in the gallery then?

By the way, I should have mentioned that I lived in Ipoh for 3 years and went to Slim School in the Cameron Highlands. I then spent another 3 years in Singapore where I married. I have a great fondness for Malaysia/Singapore and wish DSLRs were around then.

cheers

The way this forum is set up, so long as you know how to extract the link to any photos ...be it at flickr or gallery or anyother web url you can link it to your forum thread message. Hoer your mouse cursor over any picture and right click if you are using a PC windows and look at the properties and you will find the photo link address there. Just select it and when you come back to your thread message...just click the "insert image" icon and paste in the link address, preview it to be sure it is correct and if everything is correct with the link, you should see the photo in your thread message for sure.

does it work if i link to facebook pix? facebook pictures have a public link but i think members would have to click on it. then a bit pointless liao..

Well I have linked a photo of my bike from Facebook to a CS thread here without any problem. Here let me show you: See picture below....

Thanks Sammy. I shall try a post containing linked images later this evening.

PeterD:thumbsup:

No problem. YOu might also want to try registering to www.photobucket.com and store your images there. They made it pretty simple to copy your link address of any one photo from photobucket and then you just paste the link URL to your message thread at CS.
