their pollution
nt sure how it fares against the other cities, but recently they just failed a 6 days out of 7 test on WHO's air quality guideline. link can be found here. hope things clear up before the olympics which is just less than a month away. :sweat:is beijing that bad? i thought it would be cleaner than the other more industalised cities like guangzhou

anyway i think including more shots on the development for olympics might be nice, afterall they have been rushing for a few years.
zooosh, i assure you the pollution is as bad as what had been written.
look at the "skies" in all the outdoor photos. i can also assure you the "misty" look in the photo with the great wall is not mist nor fog but smog. as much as i am proud beijing was chosen, i fear it may be a terrible choice afterall.
i would had thought the "lake" picture was actually a picture of the moat. but anyway...
how much can one do abt air??? ehhh... i think the world is really asking for too much, and also too naive for the decision make when making the selection.
hey, lennyl, ExplorerZ, babykailan, zoossh, there may be air pollution in Beijing but i still like the place!
anyway am i too cliche to expect a picture of the tian'an'men and a picture of the hutong for beijing?
