Hi all,

Got to shot this pix this evening...
Is so hard to get it right...And I have miss some of the best part too...:cry:
So far only got it 2 pix....:cry:
Sorry for the many noise.....

At the same time pls advice..
For shooting lightning... How to go abt shooting it...

hi Rubber_Duck :) nice pics u got there did u use a tripod? the pictures look a little blurr. i think that a tripod would come in handy. As for me when i take lightning shots i will put the exposure to quite a long time so at least i won't miss too much and don't have to spam my frames. Yea use bulb if you need to :) i hope this helps and u can kinda zoom out too i am guessing that you zoomed in quite much right?
 

try shooting them at nite, on brighter days they are possible but u gotta really spam ur shutter. at nite you can safely shoot non-stop at f8-16 using about 10s shutter and keep spamming till u got it (adjust according to the scene you are shooting at). the lightning will be recorded just like fireworks, and so all u got to do is keep spamming without any tempo. only tried 2 times, so far this best shot.

The bigger the aperture, the brighter the lightning. but it might cause overexpose on brighter parts of the scene, so keep a good balance between shutter and aperture

Taking all this shot was a rush for me...
I was on my way back home and saw the dark sky with lightning...
just ran home and pick up my camera and start shooting liao....:bsmilie:

No I didnt got my tripod yet...Still in the process of saving $$$..
