I like your night kite flying series. Really colorful and mystical.
But maybe you should try going down to the streets in the day and try some urban shots?
those without tripods :)

just my 2cents

The pictures are okay, but if this is going to be your portfolio, you might want to organise your pictures a bit. The remote kite pictures are a bit too repetitive, maybe you can choose to display those really striking ones. If not, put them into their own folders. It looks kind of odd if a large part of your portfolio is only on those pictures.

i plan to do that some day ^^ thanks!

eh?where?sorrie,I'm uber noob >.<

First, what's the purpose of the portfolio? For job interviews, personal or something else? Either way, there's a lack of origanisation(skipping from genre to genre and back again) in the entire series and the image quality are not really up to the usual acceptable standards. Also, don't think you have exercised a stringent selection process for the images. If this is a portfolio to show to your clients, I would be turned off by the sheer amount of images to glance through. Maybe you should split them up.

Half the forum is dedicated to "Photo Galleries". Try looking at the first forum page.

Heys!

Cool navigation site! Hahaa something a IT idiot like me can never do. Well from a newbie point of view, there are some photos you can definitely filter out as they don't really tell a story and you don't feel the impact of that photo like the Poles picture. As Kit mentioned some pictures are in rather bad quality that you might do better without. Don't let the few black sheep mask your nice shots yeah! Do sort them out and filter out the nice ones! Have fun! :)

Cheers!

Ah...okie thanks people, I shall try filtering out one of these days, too busy to do anything >.<

hey I split them up, do you think that I should remove the oof ones? :S cos some of them were fav-ed and I would be reluctant to do so :p

I can't comment further if you don't answer the questions. What is the portfolio for? If its for showing your work as a hobbyist, the by all means choose your favs. If its for work, then you have to select the photos that best sell your services. These may not be the best photos you've ever taken or the ones you like most. Never be too precious with your photos. If its not good enough, replace it with a better one in future. Be critical about your own work will only make you better.

Hi Kit, they are for a hobby, but I'm also aiming to do some freelancing and expand it in the future. Am doing freelancing currently. Yes I know that I can do better, what I lack is time, to practice. Am reading up all the notes posted on clubsnap and trying to improve. Thank you so much for your cnc.

I thank you once again, "image quality are not really up to the usual acceptable standards" this line affected me quite a bit, haha

then you have to ask if its affecting you for better or worse......

better in a sense that it pushes me to learn more, worse in a sense that I am feeling that my photos are...worthless? >.<

what about this pic?comments?did pp on it though
