Gone case. Better sell the lens and the camera quick, fire sale, get rid of the before all the problems start creeping up!!!

dont worry, nothing will happen.
only reason to shut off the camera is to make sure no charges on the sensor and therefore, less likely to attract dust.

I switch lenses with my camera on all the time. No harm, don't worry.

no worries man, i always do that :)

just dont take too long for dust to settle! :nono:

hahah, im actualli quite worried when i saw the top part just now coz i do that often too.

Wah. It seems like it's very common for people to change lens while the camera is on. I always off it when I want to change the lens.

:bsmilie: i do that sometimes by acident

don't think that can seriously damage the body in any way though...

yup. no worries at all. when you shoot a event, you sometimes need to change your lens very fast and will often forget to turn off your cam. My D100 has been working fine for years ever since the D100 came out more than 5 years ago.

This is the reason why I change with the cam still on. Every millisecond counts in a lens change; you may just as well miss the shot switching the cam off and on again.
