Hi all,
I felt that this photo of mine is special............
but still needs improvement...........
however I cant seem to locate where to improve.....
any pointers ?

DSC_0126.JPG

dun even know why u think its special...

perhaps u can try to make it a square crop with the chun word in the centre.

let me qualify..
its special because I know something is wrong,
yet I can't pinpoint where exactly......

nope. cropping is not the thing that I know is lacking...
tried that too....

this pic gives me the feeling that its out of place..........
exactly why so? I cant yet grasp it.

well, all in all, i believe this pic if taken by me would never see daylight.

cos 1, its just a snapshot, 2, it got no contrast nor anything significant to contribute.

oh ya, 1 more, the horizon is tilted.

i suppose the appeal is the contrasts: old and new, modern and traditional, western and chinese ... and so any processing is to enhance this contrast, say it more clearly, make it more easily seen. it is achieved to some way by the colorisation, but maybe the statement is not emphatic enuff. whether that can be achieved at all, is open to experimentation

yup you are right....its special because of the old versus new...the chinese tradition versus the modern setup.... I now know where is it lacking..............it is to bring out that contrast to a higher split......... thanks a lot.
