What does "buak gu you" aka "" means?

Lately I heard a lot of people saying that word whenever they went seeing their big boss....to me it was definately something really bad because it looks like "prepared to get scolding", but when I ask why they use the word "buak gu you" aka "抹牛油" in hokkian....nobody can really explaint :sweatsm:
