Haha... if you have to ask what sort of genre it's in, then very likely it's abstract.
I guess this subforum has more of still-lifes than abstracts. Gosh, I don't really know the exact definition of abstract art/photo to explain to you, but it's basically something that triggers feelings or has some symbolism that maybe just the artist would know - but decides to post it up anyways to bewilder viewers.
