how to remove gaffering sticky glues from LCD?

I accidentally got some white glue from the tape onto LCD.. Tried to rub it off but
there are some marks sticks there cant remove.

Plus, removed tapes from some areas, how to get rid of the white glues? :confused:

bought from who...is it one of those gaffer tape that supposed to protect and not leave any sticky residual behind?
ask the seller to compensate u ..since it doesn't work as advertised:p

Maybe u can use some tape and dab on the area repeatedly... or get glue remover from hardware shop n use with ur own risk... or juz live with it... Good Luck

Don't use glue remover, it may dissolve your plastic parts of the camera!

No way. Mine is left on for about 5 months and already leaving some residue (even though it's stated that the tape will leave no residue). I guess this only holds true if you leave it for the stipulated 3 months?

so one can only leave it on for 3 mths.. i will remember that.

I can't rmb where I read, it's good to change the gaffer once every three months, or something to that extent. You can't leave it on too long, or the residue will be left there when you remove it.
